“Miss, we no have no books home.” These words, spoken years ago by a young child in a village classroom, sparked a dream in his teacher’s heart. What if children and their parents could have access to good books for affordable prices?
That dream became a reality in 2023 when Bookends held its first book sale. Since then, thousands of books have found their way into homes and classrooms across Belize.
